The Role:
You will be supporting the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Executive on a range of marketing activities and campaigns. ATL & BTL as well as online media campaigns all in the pipeline for the next 12 months in the business. You will liaise with creative houses & Media agencies and be a key point of contact on individual marketing projects. Working cross functionally with the commercial teams this will be a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast paced and growing consumer driven business.
Role Responsibilities:
Working with the Group Marketing Manager and marketing team on planning and fulfilment of marketing activity across all forms of media for the brand, within the consumer and corporate markets. Exploration and development of new media opportunities to raise brand awareness.
Advertising:
Writing copy and working on creative from brief to final artwork/print/copy distribution for advertising and promotions across radio, TV, press and outdoor. Working with in-house design team and agencies on creative. Liaising with media buying agency with regard to brief, budget, scheduling and post campaign analysis for marketing activity.
Sales channels:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with sales channels to ensure maximisation of marketing synergies, point of sale opportunities, communications and deployment of activity.
Design:
Directing design team on the creative for all advertising, marketing, promotional and point of sale material for sales outlets.
Corporate marketing:
Working with corporate sales department on corporate marketing activity including exhibitions, direct mail, market research and trade advertising to an agreed budget.
Retail:
Working with the retail development team on all retail partner promotions, Point of Sale, communications and email marketing.
Promotional activity:
Responsible for management of promotional activity, including sourcing and management of promotional staff, promotional material, administration and communication to an agreed budget.
Product material:
Project management of printed product material, including spec, content, design, liaising with relevant departments, proofing, compliance and print to agreed budget.
Budget:
Responsible for working within an agreed budget for all activity, sourcing of quotes and maintenance of purchase order log.
Key Experience and Skills Required:
- Have previous role – related competence and experience. Min 3-4 yrs marketing experience within the Retail Sector.
- Relevant business or marketing qualification.
- Commercial awareness with a thorough understanding of modern progressive customer service concepts.
- Be proficient in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to build relationships with both internal and external bodies.
- Self-Starter with a positive can do attitude
This is contract role (7months) however as this is a growing business there are possibilities of further opportunities within the business once the contract has ended.

SALARY - Depending on experience - circa €30k-€32k
