Production Planner

Our client, a leading Irish food producer, is seeking a Production Planner to join their established team in Kildare.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and logical candidate to develop their career within the Supply Chain Management remit.

The planner will be responsible for satisfying customer demand by producing, monitoring, and driving achievable production plans and schedules based on the target run rates and yields for each product and line.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Detailed Schedule & Capacity planning in the short-medium term horizon.
• Facilitate Weekly scheduling and capacity review meetings.
• Collaborate with the onsite & off-site product Customer Interface Co-ordinators.
• Ensure to release plans to Manufacturing areas Manager in line with capacity capabilities, production efficiencies, planning guidelines & customer demands.
• Coordinate with procurement to deliver in line with production plan activities.
• Create detailed analysis in support of projects or improvements and provide recommendations.
• Responsible for commercial/manufacturing project updates.
• Maintain strong relationships with manufacturing and all other departments to support their functions.
• Update Production Reports for weekly & monthly review.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent 3 years supply chain planning experience.
• Advanced experience and capability with Excel, Power BI Qualifications.
• Results & Performance Driven.
• Strategic Thinking regarding future changes and production changes.
• Analytical problem solving, Ability to conduct effective root cause analysis.
• Systematic and logical approach to work.
