Artwork Coordinator

A Leading Food Business, based in Co. Longford, is seeking an Artwork Coordinator to join their team!

The Group Artwork Coordinator is a key member of the Group R&D Team, and they are primarily responsible for ensuring that all customer artworks are completed accurately and efficiently to meet project and customer deadlines. Reporting to the Development & Innovation Manager. 

Full-time, permanent position. 

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 9.15am to 5.30pm, Friday 9.15am to 4.30pm

Once training is completed, there will be some flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week. 

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience. 

3.5% pension contribution, death in service and income protection is provided. 


  • Ownership of artwork workflows and coordinating the resolution of all technical queries from customers, design, printers etc.
  • Accountable for the timely progression of all artwork changes, from initial briefing to file delivery at printers. Chasing approval where necessary, escalating any delays / issues to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the artwork process between all relevant parties in the artwork supply chain, both internally (key stakeholders) and externally e.g. (artwork houses, printers etc.)
  • Ensure all packaging is developed in line with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and specific customer requirements.
  • Continuously improving knowledge of packaging and attend printers when required for print runs.
  • Attend artwork meetings & prepare weekly reports.
  • Participate in customer and other technical audits when required.
  • Manage & support innovation Projects with the Group techs team. Technical support on queries and key link for external suppliers with regards to innovation.
  • NPI cover when required & other R&D related activities.


  • Food Science Degree or related degree.
  • Art & Design course is an advantage.
  • Experience in Artwork or packaging or printing is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written – and the ability to work with various departments.
  • Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  •  A logical and investigative mind.
