As the segment manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategy. You will lead the delivery, planning and development of marketing activities that drive sustainable and profitable customer acquisition and retention.
The role will require you to produce market analysis and drive an insight led approach to develop core target markets, generate new customer leads and develop value propositions for our B2C customers. You will also be responsible for the development of relationships with other influential stakeholder such as Installers, architects and specifiers.
You will be responsible to for determining the business plan in relation to channels to market for customer acquisition and retention, to maximise value and ensure our customers get an excellent customer experience. For this you will demonstrate strong attention to detail, be structured in your approach and have a passion for collaborating and leading people.

Role Responsibilities:
Help design new propositions to meet the needs of customers and support the achievement of core KPIs
Responsible for developing value propositions and margins to deliver against the segment strategy
You will recommend and drive implementation of all marketing activity
Work closely with Head of Sales and Sales Manager to identify routes to market and value proposition opportunities
Identify and drive partnership opportunities
Develop social media strategy for the segment to deliver awareness to potential and existing customers
Present to key stakeholders and demonstrating strong customer and commercial insight and ability to inform and influence stakeholders to achieve segment objectives
Work with data and insight manager to generate insight the identifies key trends, issues and opportunities to improve the customer experience
Responsible to ensure retention initiatives are aligned and teams have the right toolkits to support activity
Develop customer journey plan to deliver in life customer communications throughout the customer lifecycle
Delivery of cost benefit analysis across budget to ensure return on investment
Key Skills and Experience nedeed:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a segment marketing role
Education to a degree level or highly relevant compensating work experience in the service/energy industry
Proven ability in developing channel strategy based on commercial requirements
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Evidence of working with internal and external stakeholders
Team player with a track record of working in a highly collaborative environment with a diverse group of stakeholders
Able to build and nurture communities across different parts of a business
Highly collaborative team player who is results driven with clear insights and vision
Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences from around the business
