Product Marketing Manager 

Role Objectives:

We are looking for a product marketing manager with responsibility for product and lifecycle management & proposition design of the company’s range of products. 

You must be passionate about meeting customer needs and brilliant at translating product features into tangible benefits as well as being a commercially aware self-starter. Being a forward thinker and a foodie is a bonus. Working closely with our food, marketing & commercial business teams and liaising on a regular basis across all levels in the business, you will encourage collaboration and lead commercial discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the marketing voice in our business on our brand position on allergens, ingredients & health benefits

  • Harnessing customer insights and testing outcomes to iterate, shape & commercially size propositions and projects

  • Generating innovative ideas and building these into innovation pipelines

  • Leading co-creation days with Food & regional sales & marketing teams to generate ideas & drive our innovation agenda (in key regions)

  • Working collaboratively (internal and external stakeholders) to bring ideas to life - and through to business proposition

  • Proposition development localisation 

  • Manage the business approval process

  • Project manage the commercialisation process with internal stakeholders (graphic design, packaging, procurement, sales, technical, marketing)

  • Accountable for product system set-up (internal / external)

  • Own the portfolio review business planning cycle for group and key regions

  • Responsible for innovation tracking against volume and value sales targets

  • Manage sizing of the innovation pipeline

  • Coordinate & manage regular internal and external briefings around product plans (e.g., marketing, sales team, supply teams; manufacturing partners)


Key Experience and Skills needed:

  • Minimum 6 years proven track record in delivering share and profit goals at product manager level within an FMCG organisation

  • Experience in innovation stage & gate process (end to end)

  • A successful background in bringing products to markets 

  • Project management & prioritisation

  • Excellent collaboration, communication & influencing skills

  • Proven ability to orchestrate team delivery across complex business units & geographies

  • Strong consumer & commercial orientation
