Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage a team of Technical Sales Consultants throughout the country of Ireland, covering their Food, Beverage & Farm business.

This company is a market-leading supplier of hygiene solutions across the UK & Ireland.

Ideally located in Dublin or Belfast, you will have proven experience in a technical or hygiene capacity in either food processing, beverages or farming industries, which could be used as a springboard into sales management.

Alternatively, you already have a sales or sales management background and are looking for your next career move.

Full-time, permanent position. 

Competitive salary, company car, private health care, pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

 

Role: 

• Responsible for the management & coaching of your direct reports, supporting customers and delivery of budgets, the role is pivotal in growing the brands across Ireland, in both existing and new accounts. 
• Reviewing and analysing business intelligence to attain sales/margin targets and pursuing new business opportunities. 
• Account management of existing business and identifying growth opportunities. 
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day sales activity and performance of a team of Technical Sales Consultants.
• This is a remote working position with significant travel across Ireland.

 

Key Skills / Attributes / Core Competencies:

• Previous Sales Management experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop long standing business relationships.
• Excellent negotiating skills with a strong commercial acumen.
• Self-motivated, results driven with a strong work ethic.
• Professionalism and confidentiality.
• High level of competence in management and presentation of data via use of bespoke systems and MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Full driving licence.
