A fantastic opportunity for a Logistics & Quality Manager has arisen with our client, a leading FMCG company based in Tipperary.

 

Reporting into the Head of Quality, this position will focus on improving logistics and transport, ensuring food safety and legal compliance is maintained for all products on site.

Responsibilities:

• Expert understanding of Logistics while also developing transport solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across the department and lead and support various projects.
• Ensure the food safety, quality and legality of all products produced is always being maintained, complying with requirements.
• Manage and develop the Quality Control procedures.
• Provide technical expertise and advice in the areas of food safety and legal compliance.
• Provide a professional and technical relationship with new and existing customers.
• Contribute to the identification validation and research of new products from conception through to launch.
• Developing and implementing internal systems.

 

Requirements:

• 10+ years in a similar role in a FMCG environment.
• Diploma or higher in a Food Science related subject preferential.
• Significant technical knowledge, with a good understanding of relevant quality standards and processes.
• Results focused and high levels of responsibilities and accountability.
